M. Norman Grosman, Managing Partner of the firm, has appeared regularly on the cable channel ROB TV’s Workopolis program, speaking on a variety of employment related issues.

William R. Gale, Partner of the firm, was recently quoted in The National Post on January 17, 2007 with comments on the sweeping changes to the Human Rights Code and its meaning for plaintiff lawyers. According to Bill,

“Having experienced a few waves in employment law, I can tell you that we, as plaintiffs’ lawyers, are going to jump on the bandwagon to claim these extended remedies, increase the damages, provide greater scope on discovery and pressure employers to settle.”

In November of 2006, The Canadian HR (Human Resource) Reporter, released a special edition providing a comprehensive directory of Canada’s Top Employment Law Practitioners. This list was compiled based on either peer recognition or contribution to the employment law field. Under the heading “Ontario” appear the names of Brian A. Grosman, M. Norman Grosman, William R. Gale and Natalie C. MacDonald.

The December 2006 National Post listed both Brian A. Grosman and M. Norman Grosman as top employment lawyers in Ontario.

Canadian HR Reporter also contains a section headed up “LEADING PRACTITIONERS”. Brian A. Grosman and M. Norman Grosman continue to appear as two of the most frequently and repeatedly recommended lawyers in Ontario. This selection is based on a survey conducted of 550 employment lawyers across Canada who provided a national response rate of 45.5%. The survey was re-printed in the Canadian HR Reporter with thanks to the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
